These are wonderfully playable and flawlessly constructed guitars, handmade in the Blackstone Valley, New England. Widely played in the U.S (and notably by Bill Nelson), they are less well known in the U.K. They are, however, a genuine delight waiting to be discovered. They sell on their own merit, even to those not initially familiar with the brand. Such is their allure that Jam Guitars Nick purchased one himself!!
The basic model is the Precix - it may be a little more unassuming than some of the guitars we sell but it plays and sounds truly superb. The wide flat neck with flattened 'C' profile is instantly comfortable. The standard guitar comes with either a Poplar, Basswood, Ash, Maple or Mahogany body depending on your tonal preference but since this is a handmade guitar any other preference such as Cherry or Alder can be accommodated. All guitars come with Seymour Duncan pickups as standard (JB - Bridge and Jazz - Neck) but can be specified with any others - P90s are a popular option. All the Precix guitars are hand finished in Nitrocellulose. Other models comprise the Transitone; including the limited edition Bill Nelson Signature Model, the Caledonian and the UK-1.
