With the advent of rock n roll in the 1950’s the company expanded into guitar production. Framus became a world renown trade-mark during this era associated with many famous jazz and rock ‘n’ roll players. During the 1960’s artists including John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Bill Wyman helped to continue this reputation.
The Framus name was rejuvenated in the 1990’s by Warwick who are renown for their world class bass guitars. Framus now produce innovative high-end and custom built guitars and amplifiers, which combine traditional techniques with modern technology.
