Mike Lull's take on one of the classics in Olympic White with matching headstock. A swamp ash body, rosewood fingerboard and Van Zandt pickups give this a fantastic sound - clear and precise but with a warmth that stops things being clinical. A great all round guitar from clean funk to screaming rock, this guitar takes it all in its stride. A Hipshot trem with a smooth precise feel keeps things in tune far better than any traditional trem especially in conjunction with the very neat Gotoh Mini Magnum locking tuners. The usual 5 way selector and a side mounted jack socket complete the picture. As with all Mike Lull's you really need to play this guitar to appreciate it properly - it just feels comfortable and easy to play with a responsive sound that encourages you to play.
This is a true workhorse guitar in a great blonde finish through which you can make out the grain of the swamp ash body. The Fralin pickups deliver all the classic sounds you would expect. This guitar has the same easy to play feel of all the Mike Lull's with a beautiful birds-eye maple fingerboard and low vintage style frets. The neat locking tuners don't distract from the 'vintage' look and give it a tuning stability that traditional instruments can't compete with. This is a no nonsense instrument that will give many years of service but with the feel that only a handmade instrument can possess.
This AAAAA flame maple top is definitely out to get attention here and this guitar deserves it. A more modern feel here with the pickups mounted direct to the alder body, no scratchplate and the Van Zandt bridge humbucker. A single volume and tone control coupled with a five way selector give the expected tonal variations and the Hipshot trem and Gotoh Mini Magnum tuners keep things nicely in tune. A 22 fret neck with a tightgrained rosewood fingerboard and satin feel maple neck gives the usual Mike Lull playability. This is a versatile guitar, the bridge humbucker gives a good rock tone with plenty of output but with no harshness and the two single coils provide plenty of great clean sounds.
