The Third Hand is a fantastic gadget which allows for real time control of any pedal parameter using the footpedal. What you do is take the relevant knob off of the pedal (usually just pull off or have a little grub screw) and place the 3rd Hand's adaptor over the spindle of the pot (this has a grub screw to make sure it fits securely regardless of the size of the spindle). Now, rocking the footpedal rotates the knob on the pedal giving you control without bending over or taking your hands off of the guitar. This gives you the opportunity to be creative by taking real time control of your pedal effects. This is a well made piece of kit that will stand the test of time on the road - although it is always worth making sure the screws are tight whenever it is set up. If you are looking for something different for your pedalboard this could just be it.
