A guitar builder since 1980, Trussart recently moved his operations from Paris to Los Angeles.His unusual approach to guitar building involves crafting custom steel bodied guitars from his home workshop. These are based on Telecaster and Les Paul designs and come in three main finishes chrome, rusty and brushed.
Trussart’s technique for rusting the finishes involves leaving the guitar body exposed to the elements for several weeks, and allowing it to corrode before treating it to stop the corrosion.This results in hand built guitars of unique character.
Trussart’s visual style means these guitars will never be mistaken for anything else. They also have an attention demanding tone and clarity.
Trussart guitars are played by many of the worlds top guitarists including Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Joe Perry and Billy Gibbons.Trussart guitars have previously only had limited availability in the UK.
